木造の手伝いやんのかな〜思ってたら
外構の手掘り、砕石敷き、転圧
砕石敷きとは、建築物の基礎部分や駐車場、庭などに細かく砕いた石を敷き詰める工事のことです。地盤の強度を高めて建物の重みを支えたり、車が通る場所の沈下を防いだり、雑草の発生を抑制したりする目的で行われます。砕石を敷いた後には転圧を行い、地盤をさらに締め固めるのが一般的です。
「転圧（てんあつ）」とは、土、砕石、アスファルトなどの材料に機械や道具を用いて外部から圧力をかけ、材料の隙間から空気を追い出して粒子同士の接触を密にすることで、密度を高めて締め固め、平坦に均す作業のことです。主に道路や建物の基礎工事、庭や駐車場などの造成・舗装工事で用いられ、地盤を強固にし、将来的な沈下やひび割れを防ぐ目的があります。
