今日は基礎作業で
採石場の気密シート、スタイロフォーム貼り
気密シートは日本では冬の方が夏よりも圧倒的に壁体内（壁の中）結露リスクが高いと言われており、日本の家作りの基本は「冬型結露」を防ぐ
スタイロフォームの効果は、高い断熱性、優れた遮音性、高い耐湿性・耐水性、そして防蟻性能です。これらの特性により、冬の寒さや夏の暑さを和らげ、冷暖房効率を高めて光熱費を削減し、カビやシロアリから建物を保護します

Day 31
Today we’re working on the foundation.
Installing airtight membranes and Styrofoam at a quarry.
In Japan, the risk of condensation inside walls is said to be far greater in winter than in summer. Preventing “winter condensation” is a fundamental part of Japanese home construction.
Styrofoam provides excellent insulation, soundproofing, moisture and water resistance, and anti-termite properties. These properties mitigate winter cold and summer heat, improve heating and cooling efficiency, reduce utility bills, and protect buildings from mold and termites.

If you don’t do this, you’ll get exposed to heat.

I used airtight sheeting when building a warehouse in Iwate.
I left the level of the crushed stone under the airtight sheeting to a craftsman, but it was quite low, so we needed a lot of concrete.
It’s better than having it high.
They were laughing at me.
I didn’t have any leftovers, though.
Nostalgic.
I’d like to work in Iwate again.
Maybe a general contractor?
I’m looking forward to seeing where I end up.
