Day 30

Today, we laid crushed stone under the dirt floor.

Bringing in crushed stone with a dump truck → Leveling it with a backhoe → Compacting it

Leveling it by hand with a shovel and a cat

Stopped midway through.

Continued work tomorrow.

Before that, drilling holes for the reinforcement that will be used to pour concrete on top of the crushed stone.

We’ll insert anchors here.

Drill holes, fill with compound, and install anchors.

Small companies can do anything, lol.

We did post-construction work on renovation projects.

We did it in Miyagi for joinery work, but it wasn’t a foundation. I remember that very well.

Until then, I’d been working as a temporary worker for a major general contractor,

But I was only in management.

Specifically, I only saw photos.

I’ve been doing that for 6 years.

If you want to improve your skills, temporary work isn’t the way to go.

I was able to do a lot of things when I was working for a subcontractor in the Kanto region,

It depends on the company.

The money isn’t bad, but

In the long run, you have to improve your skills.

I’m sure there are some people who go from temporary work to a major company,

It’s going to be tough.

Even so, even skilled workers in their 70s are still working hard.

They’re still young.

At 70, they’re perfectly capable of working.

They can still work.

As long as they’re breathing, they can work.

The end.

Bye.
