Day 38
Day 2 of the Slinging Training Course
Written exam, even though it’s a course!
I felt a bit unsure about my performance.
Tomorrow is the practical exam, so I’m out.
Slinging (slinging) refers to the general work of attaching and detaching loads to the hooks of cranes and mobile cranes at factories and construction sites. To ensure safe and reliable loading and unloading operations, slingers are responsible for a series of tasks, from preparing the work to slinging the load on the hook, moving it to the designated location, and finally detaching it from the hook. Depending on the weight of the load and the capacity of the crane, special slinging training or slinging skills training is required for this work, and is essential for safe operation.
It was a training course.
I just sat there and listened.
The instructor’s explanations were easy to understand.
He didn’t have a local accent.
Slings are used quite often on job sites, so why haven’t I had one before? That’s how it felt.
At large companies, the workers do the rigging.
At small and medium-sized companies, everyone does it.
That’s how you learn it.
So I wonder if people at large companies don’t remember their jobs.
The supervisors don’t even do the rigging in the first place.
That’s how it felt.
I took the training course.
Small and medium-sized companies do the rigging, so it’s a good idea to have it.
I thought it would be tough sitting for two days straight for the first time in a while, but it seems okay.
At work, I feel like I’m going to die, so I wonder what’s different.
I wonder what they do in the rigging practice.
It comes up online right away, and it’s something like this.
Helmet, work clothes, protective gear, safety shoes are required.
I heard someone said they wore short sleeves and shorts before, but I don’t think they did.
I wonder if there are bears at the testing center.
